Here are two simple, easy to follow steps to get you underway. When it comes to getting that energy boost, it’s all about:
1. eating the right foods
Eat for energy by consuming foods packed with healthy sources of protein, fats, carbs. Foods like blueberries, strawberries, fish, lean meats, nuts, fruit, and vegetables. Just as important, avoid processed foods and snacks that are high in sugar, additive and preservatives. You will notice that the non processed foods are all able to biodegrade utilising their own energy. Therefore costing you minimal amounts of energy to help it to be digested. As foods become processed, or are not in their natural state, they require your energy to help it decompose and digest. This costs you valuable energy.
2. eating them at the right time
Plan out three small regular meals and incorporate snacks into your daily routine to keep your body fuelled and your energy levels high.
Try it. Focus on eating those 2-3 small meals per day and aim for a snack every few hours in-between.
